CA man suffered heart attack at Rainbow Gathering

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) -- A California man who died last month before the Rainbow Family Gathering in southwest Washington suffered a heart attack.

Skamania County officials released autopsy results this week for 50-year-old Stephen Pierce of Fort Bragg, Calif. He died June 24 while helping set up the festival in Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

The Columbian reports Skamania County authorities are still awaiting toxicology results from the autopsy for 28-year-old Amber Kellar of Weed, Calif. who died July 6 at the festival that drew 20,000 people. Her family said she had a heart condition.
