6-year-old Spokane County boy hit by vehicle

NEWMAN LAKE, Wash. (AP) -- The Spokane County sheriff's office says a helmet likely saved the life of a 6-year-old boy who was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle Thursday in the Newman Lake area.
KHQ reports the boy was airlifted to a hospital with a possible concussion, bumps and bruises.
