MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — Prosecutors in southern Oregon are seeking more information on the condition of a 51-year-old man who remains hospitalized after his wife and four children died in a house fire in Medford.
The Mail Tribune reports the Jackson County district attorney’s office has filed a subpoena that could compel Rogue Valley Medical Center to reveal more details about Jordan Criado, who is suspected of stabbing his wife and children, then setting their house on fire.
Criado is in intensive care and has remained nonresponsive since he was brought to the hospital July 18.
Deputy District Attorney Beth Heckert said her office filed the subpoena before seeking an indictment from a grand jury.
