Mail ballots for the Aug. 16 primary and special election began their journey Wednesday to all eligible registered voters in Clark County. About half of county voters will have a candidate race and/or ballot measure on which to vote.

Ballots also are available at the county Elections Department, 1408 Franklin St., in Vancouver.

Any voter not receiving a mail ballot by Friday, Aug. 5, should call the Elections Office at 360-397-2345 and request a replacement ballot. These ballots may be requested in person, by email (elections@clark.wa.gov) or by mail (Elections Department, P.O. Box 8815, Vancouver, WA 98666-8815).

A sample Aug. 16 ballot is available online at http://www.clarkvotes.org.
