Colts sign draft pick, announce deals with 2 vets

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Colts have signed running Delone Carter to a four-year deal with league minimum salaries, his agent has confirmed.

Carter, a fourth-round pick, is the first Indy draft pick to sign.

The move comes on the same day the Colts announced deals with safety Melvin Bullitt and kicker Adam Vinatieri. Both are expected to sign later Friday.

Indy also signed 15 undrafted rookies, including running backs Darren Evans and Chad Spann, who played high school football in the Indy area.

The other undrafted free agents are punter Travis Baltz; defensive end David Bedford; linebackers Chris Colasanti, Adrian Moten and Kerry Neal; receivers David Gilreath, Joe Horn and Larrone Moore; quarterback Mike Hartline; offensive lineman Jake Kirkpatrick, safety Joe Lefeged; tight end Mike McNeill; and defensive tackle Ollie Ogbu.
