SAN ANTONIO (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys have signed their final two draft picks, although neither will be on the field for the next few days.
DeMarco Murray, a running back from Oklahoma taken in the third round, recently injured a hamstring. Coach Jason Garrett said Friday that Murray should start practicing next week.
Bruce Carter, a linebacker from North Carolina taken in the second round, is headed to the non-football injury list because of a torn knee ligament sustained in college.
The Cowboys signed their other six draft picks in time to participate in the first full practice of training camp on Thursday.
