The Kent Little League all-stars made it through to the state championship game, eliminating Eastlake 7-1 Friday in the Little League Baseball Washington State Tournament at the Fort Vancouver Little League fields.

Kent earns a title shot against undefeated North Bothell at 1 p.m. Saturday.

North Bothell needs only to win Saturday to represent Washington at the Little League Baseball Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament at San Bernardino, Calif., where it will compete for a spot in the Little League World Series.

Should Kent win, a second championship game will be played at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Kent jumped on Eastlake from the first two innings, taking a 6-0 lead. It would add one more run in the fourth inning. Eastlake scored its only run in the sixth.

The Fort Vancouver Little League fields are located on the south side of Mill Plain across from Hudson’s Bay High School. The games are free.
