Weekend (likely) to be full of sunshine, warm weather

This weekend should be full of sunshine and near 80-degree weather, forecasters say.
Or at least they think so.
Saturday and Sunday call for mostly sunny skies. (Translation: There may be some clouds here and there, so don't get your hopes too high.)
Forecasters call for a high temperature of 79 today and Saturday, with Sunday predicted to be slightly cooler, at 77, according to the National Weather Service.
Still, there's not a chance of rain anywhere in the extended forecast, stretching into the early part of next week. And Monday is expected to reach 80, according to the weather service.
