EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora is ending his holdout after one day.
The two-time Pro Bowl defensive end sent an email to The Associated Press on Saturday, saying he would be reporting to the Giants training camp later in the day.
Umenyiora missed the opening of camp on Friday. He said during the summer that he was unhappy because general manager Jerry Reese failed to live up to a promise to renegotiate his contact after last season.
The Giants have no immediate comment.
