ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis Rams were closing in on a contract with first-round pick Robert Quinn, a defensive end who changed agents recently.

Coach Steve Spagnuolo said after the first workout Saturday that Quinn’s plane had landed in St. Louis. Spagnuolo said Quinn wasn’t signed before training camp because of a personal issue, not a contract issue.

Earlier Saturday, the Rams agreed to terms on one-year contracts with wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker and cornerback Al Harris.

Spagnuolo said the Rams were attempting to restructure contracts with offensive guard Jacob Bell and defensive back James Butler, and were hopeful both could remain with the team. Spagnuolo also said he’d like to re-sign offensive guard Adam Goldberg, an unrestricted free agent.
