‘Young Money Family’ ready to pay off for Steelers

LATROBE, Pa. (AP) — Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace thinks landing veteran Plaxico Burress would have been “sweet” for the defending AFC champions.

Just don’t expect him to start grousing now that Burress has signed with the New York Jets. The way Wallace looks at it, the Steelers will be just fine with their quartet of talented — if somewhat undersized — receivers.

Though veteran Hines Ward remains the unit’s unquestioned leader, the confident Wallace is one of the league’s most explosive players. He averaged a whopping 21 yards a catch last year, and believes fellow youngsters Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders help make up what he calls the “best” receiving corps in the NFL.

The trio have dubbed themselves the “Young Money Family,” and Wallace thinks they’ll pay off big this fall.
