LONDON (AP) — Amir Khan says he will defend his WBA light welterweight title in a unification bout with Zab Judah.

The British fighter says on Twitter he will face the American IBF champion on July 23 at the Mandalay Bay hotel casino in Las Vegas.

Khan says: “July 23rd, WBA/IBF unification fight. KHAN vs JUDAH. Mandalay bay.”

Khan retained his WBA title when his fight with Paul McCloskey was stopped after six rounds in Manchester on April 16.

Judah, the former undisputed welterweight champion, reclaimed the IBF title when he knocked out Kaizer Mabuza in March in Newark, N.J.
