Volunteer managers get Turner award

Bagley Downs — Directors of Volunteer Programs Association celebrated National Volunteer Week by presenting the Anne Turner Award for Excellence in Volunteer Management to two outstanding volunteer managers: Al Fory, director of volunteer development for YWCA Clark County, and Kris Henriksen, Teen Talk coordinator for Clark County Center for Community Health.
The award, presented in memory of volunteer advocate Anne Turner, honors deserving DVPA members that embody the spirit and dedication of Anne Turner, who worked tirelessly to promote volunteerism in Clark County.
