BURLINGTON, Wash. (AP) — The Burlington Fire Department says arson caused about $3,000 damage at Burlington-Edison High School.
The Skagit Valley Herald reports firefighters responded to an alarm at the school about 1 a.m. Thursday.
An investigation found an accelerant had been used to ignite paper and wood near a door. The fire spread through a window to the interior before it was fully extinguished.
Burlington police are investigating.
