TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Former Notre Dame offensive tackle Matt Romine has transferred to Tulsa.

Romine played in nine games and started three times for the Fighting Irish last season as a junior. Tulsa announced Thursday that Romine had enrolled as a graduate student and will use his final year of eligibility with the Golden Hurricane.

Romine played in 24 games during his time at Notre Dame. He attended Tulsa’s Union High School, where he played for new Golden Hurricane coach Bill Blankenship.

Tulsa won 28-27 at Notre Dame last season and ended up ranked No. 24 in the final AP poll.
