MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) -- A southern Oregon railroad park is celebrating its 30th anniversary in Medford.
The Grants Pass Daily Courier reports the nonprofit Medford Railroad Park has built up a collection that ranges from full-size locomotives to miniature engines.
Park supporters say it is the only railroad park in the nation that has five different clubs that operate it together.
The 12-acre park was created from the site of a former sewer plant. It now boasts more than two miles of track, and runs as many as 10 trains at a time for short rides.
