Letter: Regard finally given to local cemetery

The Columbian
Published: June 2, 2011, 5:00pm

Over the years I’ve been a regular visitor to the Lewisville Cemetery. After my daughter’s death in 1995, I spent a lot of time hauling my lawn mower back and forth to mow the area around our family plots. I was able to keep that area reasonably nice by hauling water and by fertilizing in late summer.

My hat is off to the new cemetery commissioners who, for the past several years, have turned the whole cemetery into one of the best-looking cemeteries in the county.
