NEW YORK (AP) — Subscribers to the satellite TV package that allows them to see every NFL game won’t have to pay for next season until the lockout is over.

Customers who had the Sunday Ticket package on DirecTV last season will be automatically renewed at the normal discounted rate, but they won’t be charged until the NFL and union resolve their labor impasse.

A DirecTV spokesman said Friday the provider would not be able to offer an “early bird” rate to new subscribers to the package for next season because of the lockout.
