Riverview Community Bank earns philanthropy award

Vancouver-based Riverview Community Bank has been named as a Top 75 Corporate Philanthropist in Washington for 2011 by the Puget Sound Business Journal. Riverview was the only Southwest Washington-based company to receive the honor. The bank was ranked 15th among medium-sized companies with more than $200,000 in corporate and in-kind giving in Washington.
Ron Wysaske, the bank’s president and chief operating officer, praised the bank’s 180 “employee-owners” for donating hundreds of hours to community events and charitable causes sponsored by the bank.
