DALLAS (AP) — LeBron James was all smiles. Dwyane Wade is laughing at his own jokes. Erik Spoelstra says the Miami Heat are emotionally fine.

Sure seems like the stigma of Miami squandering a chance to win Game 2 of the NBA finals will not be carrying over into Game 3 in Dallas on Sunday night.

The Heat and Mavericks were back at work Saturday in steamy Dallas, both sides saying they understand the stakes of what awaits. Since the NBA went to the 2-3-2 format for the finals, when teams split the first two games, the Game 3 winner has gone on to win the championship all 11 previous times.

Dallas outscored Miami 22-5 in the final 7 minutes to escape a 15-point deficit and win Game 2 on Thursday night.
