Police: Homicide ruled in man's death in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Portland police have ruled the death of a man in the city's northeast Woodland neighborhood as homicide.

Police say that officers responded at around 4 a.m. Saturday to reports of several gunshots in the neighborhood. When officers arrived they located the man down in the street. He was declared dead soon after.

A witness told police a gunman was seen running down the street after the shooting.

Police are investigating. They say they don't know if it's gang-related or if it's related two other overnight shootings.
