A motorcycle crash near North Bonneville sent two people to the hospital Saturday morning.

Michael Walker, 53, of Wilsonville was driving the 2005 Heritage Softail motorcycle that crashed. Walker and his passenger, 52-year-old Victoria Walker also of Wilsonville, were transported to Southwest Washington Medical Center, according to Washington State Patrol.

The motorcycle was heading eastbound on state Highway 14 when it approached a stopped westbound vehicle attempting to make a left turn. The motorcycle swerved around the right side of the stopped vehicle, traveled off the north side of the road and into the ditch, according to police.

The motorcycle rolled and both Michael and Victoria Walker were ejected.

The crash occurred at 10:35 a.m.

Michael Walker had a broken ankle and possibly other injuries. Victoria Walker had a broken right wrist, according to WSP. Both were wearing helmets.

Police said the cause of the crash was inattention. Charges are pending.
