CINCINNATI (AP) — Bengals offensive and defensive players will work out at separate locations in Cincinnati this week, the first time they’ve gotten together as units during the NFL’s lockout.

Tackle Andrew Whitworth, the team’s union representative, organized the offense’s workouts at the University of Cincinnati starting Monday. Quarterback Andy Dalton, the team’s second-round pick, is expected to participate.

The defense will work out at a conditioning facility north of the city for the next two weeks.

Quarterback Jordan Palmer hosted a workout with Bengals receivers, tight ends and running backs in California before the draft in April.
