Letter: Representative’s job is not easy

Regarding John Knapp’s June 1 letter to the editor, “Good leaders represent constituents,” I happen to agree with Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, most of the time, and believe that Knapp’s preferences aren’t the only to be represented in this district.

Herrera Beutler’s job as a congressional representative is not an easy one. Trying to vote her heart and keep her constituency happy at the same time is a challenge.

Try looking at the big picture, and keep an open mind when venting about our representatives.

They do a lot of work for you and for me.
