Ore. man critical in Portland drive-by shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A Portland man is in critical condition after a drive-by shooting that police say may be gang-related.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old Alexander Ray English. Police say he was standing on the porch of his house when he was shot at least twice early Tuesday morning by someone inside a dark blue American-made sedan.
Officers responding to the shooting stopped a vehicle matching the description but it was not the suspect car.
No other details were available.
