A man in his 40s carrying a black bag robbed the Orchards branch of U.S. Bank shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The robber entered the bank at 6407 N.E. 117th Ave. and demanded cash and received some. He did not show a weapon, according to police radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.
He was described as wearing a blue button-up shirt, black pants and a baseball cap. He may have had acne scars on his face. He was variously reported as a white man and possibly of mixed race. He might have been driving an older white Honda.
Sheriff’s deputies searched the area with a police dog.
No arrests had been made as of Tuesday night, Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Tony Barnes said.
