Inslee formally kicks off governor campaign
Clark County Democrats will hold their annual fundraising Jefferson-Jackson Dinner and Auction this Saturday at the Hilton Vancouver Washington.
State Sen. Craig Pridemore, D-Vancouver, will serve as master of ceremonies, and U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee, a Bainbridge Island Democrat who represents the 1st Congressional District, will deliver the keynote address. Inslee, who has served in Congress since 1992, is on a short list of potential Democratic candidates for governor next year. Washington’s 1st Congressional District includes parts of King, Kitsap and Snohomish counties.
The event will begin with a 5 p.m. reception. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Tickets for the banquet are $75 and are available through the Clark County Democratic Central Committee website, http://www.bluedonkeys.com, or at the door.
