COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — So much is up in the air about Ohio State’s 2011 season. At least the Buckeyes know their first two games will kick off at noon at Ohio Stadium.

Start times for the home games against Akron on Sept. 3 and Toledo on Sept. 10 were announced on Tuesday by ESPN and Ohio State.

The Akron game will be the head-coaching debut of Luke Fickell, serving as the Buckeyes’ interim head coach after the forced resignation of Jim Tressel last week. The NCAA is still investigating the program.

Three other game times generally are known for Ohio State: at Miami, Fla., on Sept. 17, will start at 7:30 or 8 p.m.; the Buckeyes’ first-ever Big Ten matchup at Nebraska on Oct. 8 will kick off at 8 p.m.; and the home game with Wisconsin on Oct. 29 will start at 8 p.m.
