Lynnwood man pleads guilty in racing fatality

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A Lynnwood man who was involved in a fatal crash while street racing faces about two years in prison when he’s sentenced next month in Everett.

The Daily Herald reports 25-year-old Jonathan Tiv pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide Tuesday in Snohomish County Superior Court.

He was traveling about 65 mph in a 35 mph zone in 2009 when he collided with a car, killing 25-year-old Nicholas Gorrell.
