BLUFFTON, Ohio (AP) — A man who survived a bus crash that killed five of his Ohio college baseball teammates and two others has just lived through another wreck, involving a cycling team.

Allen Slabaugh was among eight cyclists whose van blew out a tire and flipped over this week in Idaho. Slabaugh and the others were headed to Seattle to begin a 3,600-mile bike ride to Washington, D.C., to raise money for the Georgia-based Fuller Center for Housing.

The Fuller Center says no one was hurt seriously in Tuesday’s accident.

Slabaugh says in a news release that when the van started rolling over, it felt very similar to the Bluffton University bus crash in 2007. A bus carrying baseball players from the northwest Ohio school plunged off an Atlanta highway overpass.
