A TreeTalk bike tour will allow participants to pedal through downtown Vancouver while viewing celebrated trees.

The tour will begin at 6 p.m. June 20. The Vancouver Urban Forestry staff will lead an easy, flat four-mile guided Heritage Tree Bicycle Tour of the city’s notable trees. The ride begins and ends at Esther Short Park, 301 W. Eighth St.

Participants are required to wear helmets and must obey all traffic laws. Space on the tour is limited to 25 participants. To ensure a place on the ride, register in advance by calling 360-487-8308 or by email.

TreeTalk is a series of free educational workshops presented by Vancouver Urban Forestry, a division of the Department of Public Works.
