SEATTLE (AP) — Nearly 5,000 graduates are expected at the University of Washington commencement ceremony Saturday afternoon in Husky Stadium.
The university expects an audience of about 40,000 family members and other guests.
The commencement speaker is Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
The ceremony starts at 1:30 p.m. and takes about 3 hours. The event is likely to cause traffic congestion in Seattle’s University District.
