Letter: Time to stand up for symphony

I felt very sad when I read the June 8 story “Local symphony’s future in doubt” that the Vancouver Symphony was on the brink of folding, and this after 32 years.
The symphony is one of the best things Vancouver and Clark County have to offer and to have it disappear would be a tragedy.
If each and every person who attended any of the concerts would just send in a small donation of $10 or $20 that might go towards keeping this treasure in our community. At least it would be a start.
