Man critically wounded in Walla Walla shooting

WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) -- A 25-year-old man who was shot during an altercation outside his home in Walla Walla is in critical condition at a Seattle hospital.
Harborview Medical Center spokeswoman Susan Gregg-Hanson said Monday that Kevin A. Myrick is in the intensive care unit.
Police say he was able to talk to authorities after the Sunday night shooting and detectives are investigating.
The shooting is not believed to be gang-related.
