NEW YORK (AP) — Mark Sanchez and more than 40 of his New York Jets teammates have wrapped up three days of player-run workouts at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, using the private practices to get some time on the field together as the NFL lockout drags on.

Sanchez says Wednesday that the players wanted to keep the workouts at the school located across the road from the team’s facility in Florham Park closed to the media and public because they wanted to “relax and do it our way.”

Sanchez and his brothers, Nick and Brandon, helped organize the workouts, which included film sessions and 7-on-7 and team drills.

Sanchez says there were no injuries reported, and the players are planning more workouts “in small pockets” until the lockout ends.
