NEW YORK (AP) — Katy Now led all the way Wednesday, beating Ask the Moon by a half length in the $55,860 feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.
A 4-year-old trained by Todd Pletcher, Katy Now improved to 4 for 10. John Velazquez was aboard as the winner ran the one mile in 1:34.85 on the fast track.
Katy Now paid $8.20, $4.10 and $2.40. Ask the Moon returned $5.70 and $2.60 while Arena Elvira, $2.10, got third as the 1-2 favorite.
