Rio 2016 chief hospitalized for abnormal heartbeat

RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) -- The president of the Rio 2016 Olympic organizing committee has been hospitalized with an abnormal heartbeat.
Rio's Olympic committee said in a statement that Carlos Nuzman was having a routine health exam Tuesday when doctors noticed an abnormal heart rhythm. Nuzman checked himself into a hospital at his doctor's recommendation and was having more tests Wednesday.
Rio de Janeiro is preparing to host the 2016 Olympics.
