TUKWILA, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says a 3-car crash on Interstate 5 at Tukwila was caused by a 14-year-old driver.

The patrol says the teen was speeding with his 14-year-old girlfriend as a passenger Thursday when he collided with two cars. One of the other drivers suffered minor injuries.

The boy was released to his mother’s custody. He’s under investigation for reckless driving, hit-and-run, and driving without a license and insurance.
