Letter: Cemetery is sacred ground

What is wrong with people? I read the June 15 story “Unleashed in the cemetery: Some complain pet owners treat Park Hill like a dog park” about people letting their dogs use the Park Hill Cemetery for a dog run, and I could not believe it. How insensitive can people be?
While one dog owner said, “I always clean up after my animal,” take your dog and walk it on a leash like a responsible pet owner, but don’t let it run free where loved ones are resting. I have a mother and father there and I would not want to see some mangy mutt running around where they are resting.
This shows a total lack of respect for other people and their loved ones.
