BEND, Ore. (AP) — Two top deputy prosecutors for Deschutes County District Attorney Patrick Flaherty have resigned.
KTVZ-TV in Bend reported that Flaherty announced Monday that Chief Deputy District Attorney Traci Anderson and Deputy District Attorney Pat Horton have resigned, effective July 5.
Flaherty praised both for their roles in the office but gave no details about why they were leaving, saying he would have no further comment.
The resignations came as Flaherty faces a lawsuit by fired deputy prosecutors and an Oregon State Bar investigation of his response to a lawyer’s release of personal information on new hires for his office.
