East Minnehaha — About 90 Truman neighborhood residents took advantage of beautiful weather June 4 to celebrate the recent completion of Bosco Farm Neighborhood Park at 3601 N.E. 39th St., just east of St. Johns Road.
The Truman Neighborhood Association, Clark County Public Works and Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation hosted the dedication event, which attracted County Commissioner Steve Stuart and a surprise visit from state Rep. Jim Moeller, D-Vancouver. Refreshments and free sunshine were provided.
Bosco Farm Neighborhood Park was built by Clark County late last year as part of the Greater Clark Parks District program. The 12-acre park features walking trails, a playground, basketball half court, open lawn areas, picnic tables and benches.
