Hudson’s Bay — Nearly 400 people attended Open Cockpit Day at Pearson Air Museum on May 28. It is the one day during the year visitors can get into the cockpit of some of Pearson’s vintage aircraft and see the planes from the pilot’s perspective.

Kaya Galbraith, 13, was among the more than 40 students who received a free airplane ride. Galbraith, daughter of Jerome and Inga Galbraith of Vancouver, is a regular volunteer at Pearson Air Museum along with her brother, Kjer Galbraith.

The museum would like to thank the generous pilots from Hillsboro, Ore. and other Pearson volunteers who made the day possible.
