PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A 3.8 magnitude earthquake about 230 miles off the Oregon coast did not trigger any initial reports that it was felt on land.
KGW-TV in Portland reports the offshore quake was centered west of Bandon and about six miles deep.
Officials in Bandon and Coos County said they had no reports of anyone feeling the quake just after 6 a.m. Tuesday.
