ZURICH (AP) -- FIFA President Sepp Blatter is backing his organization's secretary general after an embarrassing email about World Cup host Qatar.
FIFA said in a statement Tuesday there are "no pending issues" between Blatter and Jerome Valcke and they look forward to working with each other for the next four years.
Blatter had declined to support his top administrator at a May 30 news conference after the email was leaked by Jack Warner, then a FIFA vice president.
Valcke wrote to Warner that Qatar had "bought" 2022 hosting rights. The French official later said he was referring to Qatar's financial power and wasn't implying wrongdoing.
