CHICAGO (AP) — Paul Konerko homered in the second inning of Tuesday night’s game against the Cubs, giving the Chicago White Sox first baseman a homer in five consecutive games.
Konerko’s shot leading off the bottom of the second against Matt Garza was his 21st of the season and 10th in June.
Konerko is the sixth White Sox player to homer in five straight games and the first since Carlos Lee in 2003.
