Record number to compete in Spokane's Hoopfest

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- A record 27,500 basketball players are expected to compete these weekend in Spokane's Hoopfest.
KREM reports more than 7,000 teams will play on 458 courts on downtown streets.
