Letter: Vouchers are not what people want

In the June 16 story “Herrera Beutler: Vote on light rail,” in reference to funding light rail, Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas., stated “Let’s not be afraid of finding out what people want.”

Why didn’t she find out that the majority of people are in favor of not ending Medicare, as we know it, before Herrera Butler voted for a Medicare voucher program?
