SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A 51-year-old Salem man faces a mandatory minimum 25 years in prison after he was given a life sentence Wednesday for a fatal shooting.

Larry Lynn Wallace entered a no contest plea to murder and gun charges in the September 2010 death of 50-year-old Shelli Jo Taylor at the mobile home they shared in Salem.

The Statesman Journal reports Marion County Deputy District Attorney Melissa Wakeman told the court that Wallace and Taylor had been arguing about money and bills.
