Prosecutors in Cowlitz County on Tuesday filed charges of first-degree burglary with sexual motivation, first-degree burglary and second-degree rape against a 20-year-old Vancouver man, according to The Daily News in Longview.
Tucker Alan Cosgrove is accused of entering a building in the 100 block of Home Town Drive in Kelso early Sunday and assaulting a woman.
The rape charge alleges the woman was incapable of giving consent (she told police she was awakened by Cosgrove in her bed), The Daily News reported.
He also is accused of assaulting a man who tried to stop him as he ran from the building.
Cosgrove, who has relatives in Kelso and Cathlamet, was being held in jail Thursday in lieu of $100,000 bail.
