Mileage deduction: The Internal Revenue Service will increase standard deductible mileage rates by 4.5 cents to 55.5 cents a mile beginning July 1. The new rates remain effective through Dec. 31. The rate-increase period was incorrectly reported on Page E1 of Friday’s paper.
